Transportation in Troisrivieres

Trois-Rivières moves on two levels: the local bus network (Réseau de transport de Trois-Rivières) and the regional Orléans Express coaches. Buses are cheap, cover every district you'll realistically visit, and the downtown hub at Terminus Radisson is the easiest place to orient yourself, every line passes through it, so if you're lost, just ride back there. For a splurge, the Orléans Express links you to Montréal or Québec City in comfort. But inside the city limits it's overkill. First-timers should grab a rechargeable OPUS card at the kiosk inside Terminus Radisson. It works on every city bus and saves the exact-change scramble. Don't bother with day-passes unless you're riding more than four times, they rarely pay off. One trap to skip: taxis hailed on the street often refuse short hops. Call or use the app instead. There's no commercial airport in Trois-Rivières itself. Most visitors land at Montréal-Trudeau or Québec City Jean-Lesage. From either, the Orléans Express coach drops you at Terminus Radisson for a fraction of a taxi fare and runs throughout the day.
